Odds Ladder

By clicking magnifyer next to ‘ladder’ on the ‘add selections’ window the Odds Ladder Manager window will open, this is where you can create your odds ladder(s). If the odds of the selection are within any of your ranges then the stake, and other settings, used will be from your ladder. If the odds of the horse/dog etc. is not found in the ladder then the selection will not qualify. The first valid range found will be used.

You can create as many odds ladders as you like, each with as many ‘ladder rungs’ as you like. You then simply select the ladder you want to apply to the selections you enter from a dropdown list of profile names that you have created.

A odds ladder allows you to choose the: stake, bet type, max stake, market (win/place), as liability/for profit and stake as percentage of bank depending on the odds of the selection at the time of the bet. In fact, the basic controls are the same as on the ‘Bet Controls’ on the main selections window.

Create ladder rungs (lines), each with an odds range with settings in each line (such as stake). You can create as many lines as you like, if the selections odds are within an odds range in the ladder then the settings for that line will be used for the selection.

This is the Ladder window:

OddsLadder1

Here I have created a Ladder called ‘L1’. I have 2 rungs to my ladder. If the odds are 0 to 2 the bot will back it for a profit of £2. If the odds are 2-4 it will lay it for a liability of £3.

Simply click on the ladder name to load in its rungs.

Simply click on the Odds Range or Bet in the rungs to load the rung settings in to the control area.

More Settings required for your odds ranges?

You can, instead of just controlling the ‘Bet Settings’, have control over all the settings per odds range in your ladder. In this case you must set up and save as many set of settings as you wish from the main ‘Add Selections’ or ‘Systems’ windows. You can check out how to do that in the ‘Adding Selections’ page.

Click ‘Use Saves Settings’ and select the name of the settings you want to use for that rung.

In the main ‘Add Selections’ window I saved 2 sets of settings, one called L1 1-2 and the other L1 2-4. I then applied then to a new ladder called L2 on 2 rungs:

OddsLadder2

You can now see that I have 2 ladders. The settings for the second ladder have come from my main saved settings. If you change the main saved settings they will apply to your ladder rungs without having to update you ladder.

This is why we call this the odds ladder as opposed to the stake ladder. A stake ladder implies you can only control the stake depending on the odds, our odds ladder lets you control EVERYTHING.

Notes on the advanced saved settings rungs:

  • STP is not used.
  • If you are placing bets on favourites or movers the bot must find that fav or mover before it can know what the odds are and therefore pick the rung from your ladder.
  • Please do not use different steaming and drifting rules for each rung.
